Postal Auction : Friday 28th April 2017

Closing dates:

post bids   :  received first post Thursday 27th April 2017

e-mail bids:  received by 0600 (UK time) Friday 28th April 2017

Welcome to my forty-seventh auction. The last auction had a pleasing number of bids for the more valuable items, so the demand is there for choice items.

This auction starts with the last part of a large collection of agency postmarks. I have not shown the picture side of the postcards on the scans, so please ask if you would like to see those.

There are only 200 lots this time for two reasons. The first is the auction at our joint residential meeting in the Netherlands and the second is the lack of new material.

Members have a wide range of interests, so please look through your collections and shoeboxes and consider which items could earn you something extra. I can only put into the auction what I have been given. I will not have an auction in October. At present, I cannot see that I have much for July, so please support your auction!

Items under the First Republic have a number of fine aero philatelic items. There is an excellent selection from the Czech Forces and postal stationery towards the end.
