Postal Auction : Friday 28th July 2017

Closing dates:

post bids   :  received first post Thursday 27th July 2017

e-mail bids:  received by 0600 (UK time) Friday 28th July 2017

Welcome to my forty-eighth auction. The last auction had fewer lots, but much more interest than recent auctions, so I hope to replicate that again in this auction.

Please note the new extra methods of payment on the bid sheet.

I am back up to 300 lots with a large amount of postal stationery. If you do not collect that, there are some other gems, including a good rage of interesting postcards and covers and a couple of fine Sudetenland items

There is an extra bonus for those who like miniature sheets and sheetlets to enhance their collections. I have received a large amount of such items, with much duplication. Rather than put them all through the auction, I attach a separate list and will take orders on a first come first come basis at the price quoted. If you order over £100.00, you can take a 20% discount from just these items. There is no deadline for these, if you want to spread purchases, please let me know and I can spread deliveries to accommodate your budget.

The next auction will be in January 2018 due to holidays. I would like to hold an auction, or bourse, at a one day residential meeting outside London next year, so plese let me know if you have any bulkier lots that members could look through on the day.  The last one I held at Chipping Sodbury was very successful - apologies to the speaker whose display was not looked at much by the attendees as they all rushed over to look through the booty.
