Welcome to my forty-fourth auction. Vendors have provided a wide range of material, much of which has been very popular in recent auctions. The last auction had over 60% of the lots realised - a record outside room auctions.

This auction has some Austro - Hungarian hospital postcards which complement Hans van Dooremalen's fine new Monograph. As Hans said in his display, these cards are not expensive and are an interesting area to collect.

Popular areas include the Sudetenland, Bohemia and Moravia, Carpatho - Ukraine, Czech Forces in WW2 (including the CIAB - Czechoslovak Independent Armoured Brigade in 1945) and many Liberation overprints.

Please look throughout the whole catalogue as postal stationery and modern booklets have been in demand in recent auctions. A number of Slovak items are included at very reasonable reserves set by the vendor.

1945 Liberation Praha Modřany set of four noted at back of Monograph. UMM. I note that the example at the back of the Monograph has a "K" in front  of the crown values, which this set does not have. On the other hand, the Monograph's unclear scan appears to have an haček accent over an "a", but this set correctly has the accent over the "e" - ě
