WELCOME TO MY THIRTY - EIGHTH AUCTION.

Bob Kingsley's Estate continues to start the auction with a fine range of postcards. The last item is an example of one of Bob's displays. It would be an ideal item to show at your local Society to encourage others to join the Czech Society

The main section includes a number of overprints on Austrian and Hungarian issues. Each item is shown on the website. I leave it to you to determine whether these are genuine or not, all items are sold "as is". There may well be bargains for those of you who spend some time scanning the scans.  If you have been looking for the two 1934 miniature sheets, airmail covers and memorabilia, a range of Czech Forces in Great Britain and 1945 Liberation overprints, you will not be disappointed in this auction

Next time I will let you know the results of an analysis of recent auctions. One interesting fact is that 67 members have bid in 10 recent auctions. Three members deserve a gold star as they have bid in 9 of them. On the other hand, 28 members have only bid once. What can I do to encourage the 28 ( and those who have never bid) to bid more? Suggestions on a postcard or E mail.

Green folder containing stamps on 24 written up (in German) pages between 1918 and 1940s. From previous auction details in February 2005, stated to be 450 stamps and priced at £40. 1938. Very busy uprated French postal stationery card sent to Prague by airmail in November 1938 with seven (7) CDSs and two, possibly three other cachets. Appears to have taken a month to get through the system, possibly because the written text appears to be Cyrillic, rather than Roman. One for a detective to investigate.
