Welcome to my forty-seventh auction. The last auction had a return to a more normal level of interest, so I hope that this auction will continue to attract interest.

This auction starts with the third part of a large collection of agency postmarks. I have not shown the picture side of the postcards on the scans, so please ask if you would like to see those.

There are two fine collections of Eastern Silesia material, a collection of Slovak TPOs which include material from Bill Dawson and a collection of the 1938 Field Post postcards. A range of Carpatho Ukraine, Czech Forces in UK and OAS and a wide selection of 1945 Liberation overprints are also some other highlights. Booklets, postal stationery and other items under Collections have been reduced to offer excellent value.

Eastern Silesia. Well laid out collection in two beautiful stock books, of “SO” overprints itemising, in German with some pages from Czech specialist tables, hundreds of plate faults, varieties etc.  This is a very specialised collection which could readily be turned into an excellent competitive exhibit. Over 650 stamps, a couple of postal stationery cards and one nice cover. Catalogued (Mi2008) almost Eu1000, without pricing in all the plate faults, errors, varieties etc. Note some pencil marks on the odd stamp. More details available on request

Album with 77 covers or postal stationery items ranging from Austro-Hungary to just after World War Two. Pages neatly handwritten with much additional information. Note range of Hungarian with 1915 registered military cover, numerous censor cachets, a couple of Czech meter marks, couple of Sudetenland and B&M. At the end I see a cover from the Komaron - Kosice strip given to Hungary with a Turin censor label on a cover from Kassa to London and a postcard which was published in the June 1980 Stamp Collecting magazine with a message about Lloyd George and an unnamed lady
